Man Pleads Not Guilty To Additional Charges In 1999 Murder Case

A Bullitt County man has pleaded not guilty to charges related to the 1999 disappearance and death of his niece.

Stanley Dishon pleaded not guilty to additional charges of sexual abuse, incest and two counts of sodomy Monday afternoon.

He had already pleaded not guilty to kidnapping and murder charges in Bullitt County in October of 2013.

His niece, Jessica Dishon, was found murdered 2 ½ weeks after she disappeared from her driveway in 1999. She was 17.

Dishon goes back to court on April 16.

Charges against a neighbor related to Jessica's disappearance ended in a mistrial in 2003, and the case remained unsolved. In January of this year, court documents revealed that Stanley Dishon confessed to a fellow inmate he sexually assaulted and killed his 17-year-old niece back in 1999, while he was in jail for a different crime. That inmate, allegedly told officers about the confession.

Dishon's bond is set at $500,000 and a trial is set for next September.
