Authorities tracked down and arrested a man after he ran from from deputies serving a warrant, prompting a lockdown at Anderson County High School Wednesday.

Officials say deputies went to arrest Jonathan Johnson, 32, on a gun charge in Mercer County Wednesday morning, but he ran into a wooded area behind his house and disappeared. Deputies alerted Anderson County High School because Johnson reportedly had some connection to a student there.

Deputies finally tracked Johnson down around 6:30 p.m. and arrested him. He now faces an additional charge of fleeing from police.
