A man convicted for his role in a 2005 Fleming County double murder was sentenced in the case Wednesday morning.
Ronald Fairchild was found guilty back in December of robbery, burglary and two counts of murder in the deaths of Marlene Mauk and Donald Walker. The couple was killed inside Walker's Fleming County home.
Fairchild was sentenced to 27.5 years in prison, and wll be eligible for parole in 12 years.
Two other men, Rodney Dodson and Jason Jackson, pleaded guilty to murder charges in September. In December, Dodson was sentenced to 21 years in prison while Jackson was sentenced to life without parole.
