Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Murders

A Boyle County man who pleaded guilty in the shooting deaths of two men was sentenced to life in prison without parole Thursday.

Thomas Hager, Jr. was charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of 54-year-old Ted Sparks and 21-year-old Mark Snyder. Hager has also indicted for first-degree assault for shooting 37-year-old Phillip White, who survived, and for evidence tampering.

On Thursday, Hager was sentenced on two counts of murder, one count of assault and tampering with physical evidence.

Hager is also accused in the death of his roommate, Clint Disken, whose remains were found in the basement of a Lincoln County barn.
