A man was taken to the hospital and a woman to jail after a stabbing in Lexington early Friday morning.

Police say a husband and wife got into an argument over another woman at an apartment on Cross Keys Road. During the altercation, the woman stabbed the man in the neck area. EMS took him to the hospital for treatment. Officials said his wound was serious, but non-life threatening.

Police arrested the woman. No word on her identity or charges.
