Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Assault

A man is being treated for life-threatening injuries after he was assaulted in Jessamine County Monday night.

Police were called to Silverleaf Drive in Lexington at about 8 p.m. Police say the victim, James Dean Wallace, 32, of Lexington, was driven to the Lexington home after the alleged assault. Police say Curtis Flora got into an argument with Wallace at a home on Vince Road and then allegedly punched Wallace multiple times in the head.

Wallace was taken to UK Hospital, where police say he is in critical condition. Flora was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
