Laurel County police said Thursday that they have arrested a man they say fled the scene after a meth lab was discovered at a home earlier this month.
Back on April 2, police were called to the scene of a suspected lab on Gross Road, located about eight miles west of London.
During the investigation, Janice Middleton was arrested after a child was found within only a few feet of an active meth lab.
Following an extensive search for the another man who had been at the home, James Barlow, 28, police were unable to locate Barlow. Barlow subsequently turned himself in at the sheriff's office on Thursday morning
Earlier in the week, four other individuals were arrested on Gross Road following an investigation into Barlow's whereabouts - three for hindering apprehension, and one who was also a wanted person himself.
Barlow is charged with numerous offenses, including several drug charges. He is being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
