A man arrested at a Lexington car dealership early Wednesday after he told police that he was on a "mission from God" to steal a car pleaded not guilty in the case Wednesday afternoon.

Police said David A. Silva, 36, smashed a window at Freedom Dodge, but before he could get inside, a security guard stopped him. Police say Silva told the guard that he wanted him to steal a Dodge Charger for God.

The security guard held Silva until police arrived and when officers questioned him, Silva initially told police his name was "Seven."

Silva faces several charges, including criminal mischief.

Well apparently God has great taste in cars! With the 5.7l V-8 Hemi with Multi-Displacement System technology, the Dodge Charger is the perfect vehicle for any would be messiah! Luckily I don't have imaginary friends telling me to do things, so I was able to go out and buy one without having to wait! Ain't religion great!?! Use it as an excuse for almost anything!
