A man who shot another man outside of a Lexington strip club earlier this year will face 10 years in prison.

A jury found Jafari Moore, 31, guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm last July, according to a Herald Leader report. A judge handed down the 10-year sentence on Thursday.

Court documents indicate Moore took a handgun from another man during an argument in the parking lot of Diva's on Russell Cave Road and shot the victim in the leg. He also fired shots at other people nearby. Police spotted Moore in a car near the scene and arrested him. Officers found the weapon in the car.
