State Police have turned up a couple of plots of marijuana near Tompkinsville in Monroe County.

The KSP Post in Columbia received a tip and located the marijuana on Richard Ford Road five miles south of Tompkinsville. A total of 527 plants were found and destroyed.

No arrests have been made.
