Meade County Man Found Guilty In Plot To Murder His Wife

A Meade County jury convicted a man charged with trying to kill his wife in a fire.
The jury found Alan Bruner, 41, guilty of arson and attempted murder.
Police say Bruner slipped Ambien into his wife's pancakes, set three fires inside their home and left his wife inside to die. Firefighters rescued the woman.
Burner is scheduled for formal sentencing in October.
