A man who entered a guilty plea in the 2010 beating death of a former EKU baseball player in Louisville was sentenced to five years probation.

Justin Werner entered a guilty plea to assault under extreme emotional disturbance in the death of 26-year-old Bryan Stevenson.

Stevenson died after a fight in the parking lot of Barbara Lee's Kitchen Restaurant after a softball game.

Donald Hayes, another man involved in the fight, also received a five year probation sentence. A third man, David Prior, was given 12 months probation, which was deemed already served.

William Schindler, a fourth person originally charged in Stevenson's death, was found not to have been a part in the fight.
