Lexington police evacuated an entire wing of a Lexington motel after discovering a meth lab inside a room overnight.
Somebody called 911 after smelling a chemical odor at the Catalina Motel on New Circle Road just after midnight Friday. Police called in a hazmat crew and evacuated the wing.
Officials say crews decontaminated three people inside the room where officers found the meth lab, and police took them in for questioning.
There were no reported injuries.
Police have not released any information on arrests or possible charges.
