After a snowy & cold weekend we're thawing out this week as a warm up takes hold. Don't break out the short & flip flops... we're talking highs above freezing but certainly not balmy by any stretch. It kicks off Monday with highs in the upper 30s to around 40 south as a southwest breeze kicks in ahead of yet another clipper diving through the Ohio Valley. This weak wave of low pressure has limited moisture to work with so watch for scattered rain to snow showers late Monday afternoon into Monday evening. Lows bottom out in the upper 20s tonight with a few snow showers hanging on into Tuesday morning.

Tuesday looks mostly to partly cloudy and in the upper 30s again. A ridge of high pressure takes over mid week with sunshine Wednesday and highs in the low to mid 40s. We could see 50s with rain chances closer to the end of the work week.
