Sunshine returns Thursday and after we shake that frigid morning (lows in the 20s) we'll end up partly sunny and in the low to mid 40s this afternoon. There is a slim chance we could see a few showers Thursday evening and with lows close to freezing a brief mix is possible toward daybreak Friday. Tomorrow will end up partly to mostly cloudy with a few afternoon/evening showers possible again but highs will surge to the upper 50s as winds shift to the southwest.

Unfortunately the best chance for rain still kicks in this weekend with scattered showers and isolated t-storms likely Friday night into Saturday and additional rain chances Sunday into early next week. It will be a wet weekend with some areas picking up another 1" to 1.5" of rain or higher through Monday. Highs will stay mild early in the weekend, with Saturday in the mid 50s and Sunday closer to 50. A sharp cold front races through early next week with more showers & storms Monday and a big time temperature drop Tuesday.
