A paraplegic woman from Scott County who has been missing since Sunday night has been found safe.
Family members say Chi-Lee Tipton, 26, had not been seen since 8:30 p.m. Sunday. She was last seen at her home on Fairway Drive.
Lexington Police say Tipton was found outside of a library on Versailles Road in a Save-A-Lot parking lot. She was being taken to St. Joseph's Hospital to be checked out as a precaution.
Tipton told police that she wanted to leave town, and did so willfully.
