Police in Montgomery County say they have discovered 38 meth labs in the county in the past two weeks.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said they normally find about five per month in comparison. Investigators believe three or four people are behind all the labs and have active warrants out for them.
The Montgomery County jail is training the cleanup crew how to spot the 'shake-and-bake' meth labs when they are picking up trash on the highway.
Police say that at a meth lab bust on Darley Creek that happened two weeks ago there were still empty bottles of charcoal lighter fluid and boxes of Sudafed in the yard.
