LEX 18 has learned there are new developments in a Madison County murder investigation.

Jason Singleton's former girlfriend, Christina Tompkins Marcum, turned herself in to officials at the Fayette County Detention Center around 5:30 Friday night. She's charged with intimidating a witness in the case against Jason Singleton. Singleton is accused of murdering his wife, Angela. Her remains were found in trashbags in January in a rural Madison County field.

Singleton also faces hostage charges in Pulaski County.
