More Cold Weather

Posted: Jan 3, 2010 9:09 AM

It was the coldest night of the season last night. Lows dropped into the single digits across the state. Lexington hit a low of 6 degrees. With the winds, it felt like it was below zero for much of the night. Kentucky is not alone when it comes to the cold. Places in Minnesota dropped to 35 degrees below zero for the second night in a row.

Highs will only return to near 20 degrees today. We will have a mix of sunshine and clouds around though. It will be another frigid one tonight as lows plummet to near ten degrees. Partly cloudy skies will continue tonight. Mostly cloudy skies will return tomorrow. Tomorrow's highs will reach the low 20s.
