We've seen off and on rain during the day today and so far it's been heavier both south and west of Lexington. That trend may continue, but the heavier rain may start moving northward with time.
Tonight the rain will be continuing off and on with some embedded t-showers in it. A locally heavy downpour is also possible with very little temperature movement with lows in the upper 60's to near 70.
On Saturday the slow moving low responsible for the rain will still be oozing its way across Kentucky, so the rain threat will linger. It looks like it will be a few degrees warmer with highs near 80 and have plenty of mugginess too.
The rain threat continues into Sunday, but a few more breaks are possible. during the day.
