So far, more than 16,000 seats have been reserved by season ticket holders for the UK Blue-White game on April 13, which will not open to the public until March 11.
UK says part of the reason they chose to go with Ticket Master this year is because so many people were trying to reserve seats.
You will need a ticket to attend the annual UK spring football game, which is set for April 13 at 7 p.m. at Commonwealth Stadium. It will still be free, but with small service fee through Ticketmaster. There will be reserved seating.
Season ticket holders opportunity for the free tickets began Thursday. Current season ticket holders receive an e-mail this week detailing how they may obtain up to eight reserved seats.
UK students may obtain their free tickets beginning Thursday also at Joe Craft Center ticket office. Students may pick up two tickets per ID.
Remaining tickets will be available to the general public through the same TicketMaster channels beginning Monday, March 11 at 9 a.m.
