A motion to suppress evidence in the case of a man accused of killing a woman in Madison County, whose dismembered body was later found in trash bags was denied Friday.
Jason Singleton and his ex-girlfriend, Christina Marcum, are charged in the murder of Singleton's wife, Angela. Last January, her body was found dismembered in a Madison County field.
On Friday, the judge in the case said that evidence points to a search to determine if there's danger, so therefore the defendant's fourth amendment rights weren't violated.
