A motorcycle driver has been killed in Laurel County.

The accident happened at 2:47 P.M, on KY 229, one mile south of London, near the intersection of Hideaway Road.

A Suzuki motorcycle driven by Curtis G. Smith, 41, of Rocky Branch Road was northbound on KY 229, when sheriff's deputies say he lost control in a curve, ran off the road and was ejected from the motorcycle.

Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
