LEX 18 is teaming up again this year with The Salvation Army, Wal-Mart and the Fayette Mall to build a "Mountain of Love" to help feed hungry families over the holidays.

The Mountain of Love will be built beginning November 12 inside the Mall in front of Foot Action and Dick's Sporting Goods. The Salvation Army is asking for anyone who wants to donate to bring non-perishible food items. Those items include:

Green & Yellow Canned Vegetables
Cranberry Sauce
Canned Fruit
Canned or Instant Potatoes
Stuffing Mix
Bread Mixes
Dessert Mixes

Donations can be dropped off anytime during Fayette Mall business hours. Donations will be collected until December 6.
