Police arrested a murder suspect's wife and charged her with making threats over the phone.
According to the Central Kentucky News Journal, officers arrested Ruth Salyers, 56, at the Taylor County Judicial Center on Friday. According to the arrest warrant, Salyers was overheard making threats during a phone call with her husband, David Salyers.
David Salyers is in jail charged with the murder of Wendall 'Gleason' Pyles, who was shot to death last September at a Casey County business.
Prior to her arrest Friday, Ruth Salyers already faced charges in the murder case. Back in January, police arrested her and charged her with tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution in the case. She was out of jail on bond.
