A murder suspect who turned himself in at the LEX 18 studios Monday morning will face a judge for the first time Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Brandon Lamont Bailey, 28, shot Anthony Logan, 22, on Dec. 1 outside of an apartment complex on Cambridge Drive. Bailey says family members talked him into turning himself in, and he claims he shot Logan in self-defense.

Bailey is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday at 1 p.m.
