Funeral plans are set for a Morehead State student found murdered last week.

Cassandra Owens will be laid to rest Monday afternoon in Morehead.

Owens was found murdered on Thursday in her home. The father of her daughter, Casey Shay, is being held at the Rowan County Jail charged with her murder.

Police say he shot Owens to death while she was sleeping.
