Officials have released the name of the man killed in a single-vehicle accident in Jessamine County early Tuesday morning.

Jessamine County Sheriff's Office officials say Taylor E. Corman, 18, was driving a Jeep northbound along KY-29 when he lost control of the vehicle and overcorrected. The Jeep went airborne and slammed into a tree. Impact marks were visible nearly six feet up the trunk.

Corman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Christopher Gumm, 19, and Emilee E. Gosser, 18, suffered injuries. EMS took them both to UK Hospital for treatment. Officials did not release any information on their conditions.

Deputies say speed and alcohol are suspected as factors in the crash.
