National Weather Service Confirms Tornado Touched Down in Louisville

The National Weather Service confirms that a tornado touched down in southern Jefferson County. The NWS Survey Team says it was about 50 yards wide, and hit the Brook Chase Court area. A final determination on the strenth of the twister hasn't been made yet, but the National Weather Service says it will at least be an EF1.
The tornado ripped the roof off a home, and damaged some homes under construction in the neighborhood.
