A man arrested in Ohio for a Lexington murder was brought back to face charges.
Jeffrey Jackson, 34, was transferred from an Ohio jail back to Lexington Tuesday.
Court documents released overnight reveal details about the case.
Police in Dayton arrested Jackson on March 27, just hours after his girlfriend, Quantina Reed, was found shot inside the garage of her Lexington home.
According to the arrest warrant, witnesses say Reed and Jackson argued over him using her car the night before at her home on Scottsdale Circle. According to court documents, Jackson left in the car, later returned and the couple argued again. Police say Jackson called a relative a few hours later and said Reed was dead. That was just an hour before she was found shot in her garage.
Jackson is scheduled for arraignment on a murder charge Wednesday.
