Your LEX 18 Storm Tracker Forecast: Showers and thunderstorms will move in after midnight tonight. Heavy downpours are likely and some storms from Lexington to the west may be strong to severe in nature. Most locations across the entire state will see about 1" of rainfall before this is all said and done Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will also get much cooler in wake of this storm. We'll go from the 50s early Saturday morning to the 30s by nightfall Saturday. Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the U30s. And all of next week will be tranquil weather-wise with plenty of sunshine and highs in the L40s.
