It's cloudy and cold late Monday morning with low to mid 30s and even a few upper 20s in the Bluegrass, southern counties are a bit milder.
Watch for a few sprinkles/flurries but otherwise we're heading for a mostly cloudy and quiet afternoon with highs generally in the mid to upper 30s in central Kentucky and low 40s south. A few late day showers will fire southeast and as moisture streams in overnight and the temperature tanks to the 20s we'll see another round of winter weather- this time light sleet and snow.
The main impact still looks to be an inch or two of accumulation over our eastern mountain counties with much less in the Bluegrass (trace amounts to .5"). Roads could become slick again early Tuesday morning but at this point there are no advisories issued. We may see a winter weather advisory for later tonight over eastern Kentucky. I'll have more in your Storm Tracker forecast coming up on LEX 18 News at Noon.
