The light rain that we've seen for most of the morning will gradually change over to a mix then light snow Thursday afternoon as much colder air rolls in from out west. Any accumulation should remain light- around or under 1" with higher amounts in the higher elevations of our eastern mountain counties (1-3") through this evening. A winter weather advisory remains in effect for most of the area. Watch for wet & slick roads that may become icy as we drop from the 30s into the 20s. Also watch for a bitterly cold wind chill in the single digits and below zero at times thanks to a strong northwest wind.
