Notre Dame's Olivia Voskuhl scored 18 points Saturday in leading the Pandas to a 64-60 win over DuPont Manual in the semifinals of the KHSAA Girls Sweet 16 at Diddle Arena.
Region 9 champion Notre Dame (28-5) clinched a spot against Marion County (38-0) in Saturday's state championship game. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT.
Voskuhl also grabbed 10 rebounds in clinching the Pandas their first title game berth. Notre Dame is the first team from Northern Kentucky since Highlands in 1994 to play for a girls state championship.
Elly Ogle scored 16 points and tallied six rebounds and four steals for the Pandas.
Morgan Allen scored a game-high 22 points for Region 7 champion Manual (25-8), the defending state champion.
Saturday marked the final game for Lady Crimsons coach Stacy Pendleton, who announced his retirement in January.
