Surveillance video released Monday shows a robber holding up a Lexington novelty shop at knife-point on Friday night.

Just before 10 p.m., a masked man walked through the front door of Hook Novelty on Winchester Road carrying a sack for the money and a large knife. The robber told the clerk to empty the cash drawer and get down on the ground. The suspect exited the store through the back door.

The owner of the shop says the robber got away with more than $100, and it seemed like he knew the layout of the store.

The clerk was not injured.
