Two vehicles collided on I-75 in Richmond late Monday morning, sending one person to the hospital.
Richmond Police tell LEX 18 that around 11:30 a.m. rain in the area led to slick conditions, causing the wreck northbound near mile marker 89. The crash involved a pick-up and a car. Police say one of the vehicles appeared to be traveling too fast for the rainy conditions.
Investigators say one person in the car was taken to UK Hospital. The extent of that person's injuries is unknown.
I-75 northbound in the area remains down to one lane as of 12:45 p.m. No word on when all lanes are expected to reopen.
