One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Woodford County Monday morning.

Police say a car ran a red light at the intersection of Big Sink Road and the Versailles bypass, and hit a truck around 6:45 a.m. EMS took the driver of the truck to the hospital, but officials said the injuries didn't appear serious.

Police shut down westbound lanes of the bypass for a short time, causing a traffic backup in the area.
