One man went to the hospital, another to jail, after a crash in Fayette County early Monday morning.

Police say the driver of a car sped through a stop sign at the intersection of Iron Works Pike and Paris Pike, and T-boned a pickup truck. EMS took a passenger in the car to UK Hospital for treatment. Officials called his injuries non-life threatening.

The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.

Police arrested Carmelo Lopez, 33, the driver of the car, and charged him with DUI.
