One person died and two people suffered injuries in a crash along Leestown Road early Friday morning.

Police say an SUV and a minivan crashed into each other between Yarnallton Road and Dolan Lane around 2:00 a.m. EMS took three people to the hospital. Witnesses say all three were ejected from one of the vehicles.

The coroner says Ashtin Strelke, 20, was pronounced dead at UK Hospital.

Officials say the other two victims suffered serious injuries.

Leestown Road remains blocked as police work to reconstruct the accident.
