Work to replace an aging culvert bridge under US-60 near the Bath-Montgomery county line is finished, and the highway has reopened following its closure at mile marker two, just west of Wildwood Estates.

Crews began work on July 30, removing the old bridge and replacing it with a new arched aluminum culvert.

Roadway surface work continues. Traffic at the work site will be one lane controlled by temporary signals for the next several weeks.

Officials say motorists should heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones, and remain aware of workers and construction equipment in the area.
