One lane of New Circle Road remains shut down after a tractor trailer flipped early Thursday morning.
Police say the driver of a truck loaded with auto parts heading toward Georgetown lost control along the inner loop around 2:15 a.m. The semi hit a guardrail, slid and then overturned. Officials say the driver was up out of the cab when officers arrived. EMS took him to the hospital as a precaution.
Crews continue to work to right the truck and clear the scene. Police say they expect one lane to remain closed until around 6 a.m.
