Emergency officials were on the scene in Clay County Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle carrying a three drove into a body of water.
The accident happened on Highway 11 at about 3:15 p.m. about 11 miles outside of Manchester. Officials on the scene say they were able to pull a woman out of the submerged vehicle alive, and she was taken to the hospital. Two other people, including a child, remain in the vehicle, which was upside down in the water.
There is no word so far on the condition pulled from the vehicle alive.
