The Bourbon County deputy coroner has identified one of two masonry workers electrocuted in a construction accident Wednesday.
William "Derek" Gilpin, 51, and another man, were working on the chimney of a house along Mt. Carmel Road in Paris when the lift bucket they were working in struck a power line.
The deputy coroner says Gilpin lived in Lexington. He was married and the father of four. He had three grandchildren.
Officials have not identified the second man killed. The deputy coroner says he thinks the man may have lived out of town.
