Orton Update Cats Crushing Clarion 2nd Half

Forget the score 58--22 at the half.

That means very little.

What you have to like about the first 20 minutes was not only the effort, and how much better it is with John Wall on the court.

Wall led the world with 17 on 6 for 9 shooting.  He could have had 25 if he wanted to.  Throw in 6 assists.  Many of his passes were smart.  They were setting up teammates to make it easier for their buckets.

Out of the gate, DeMarcus Cousins took over with his end to end effort.  13 Points and 5 rebounds in 11 minutes.

UK might have a stat stuffer in Darnell Dodson.  In 12 minutes he had 9 points, 5 rebounds, three assists and zero turnovers.

One bad note.  Daniel Orton got hurt, has chest soreness, won't play anymore tonight. UK says he is day to day.

UK shot 58% at the half.

Clarion only 24%.

UK has outrebounded Clarion the way you would expect, 21-14.
