Papa John's announced Thursday that they will be laying off approximately 30 employees in their corporate offices in Louisville.
"Continued cost pressures and uncertainty surrounding the economy caused us to make the difficult decision of implementing a reduction in force at our corporate office this week," said Papa John's spokesperson, Chris Sternberg.
Sternberg said the layoffs will impact roughly 30 employees - approximately 15 in the corporate support area and 15 the printing and promotions subsidiary in response to continued declines in the printing industry.
"While letting employees go is never easy, we believed this was necessary to position our company for continued and long-term success," said Sternberg.
