A free $12,000 diamond ring was up for grabs Saturday.
The winners of the third annual Sheila Bayes "Diamond Dash" beat out over 340 other teams in a scavenger hunt all over downtown Lexington.
The teams received clues by texts on their phones and they had to find the answers to get points. The team with the most points gets the ring.
"We decided to do something fun to give something back. It gets lots of attention and it's fun for us, it exposes people to a store that they might not have been down here before," says Sheila Bayes.
The winning team was Jonathan Profitt and Chris Trout. Event organizers also collected donations for God's Pantry.
