A passenger on a motorcycle that crashed on the exit ramp from I-75 to North Broadway Sunday morning has died.

Police say Gregory L. Wasserott, 51, of Cedar Lake, Ind., took the turn too tight causing part of the motorcycle undercarriage to drag. Wasserott lost control of the bike and crashed into a guardrail, throwing both him and an unidentified passenger from the bike. EMS transported both victims to UK Hospital. Officials say the passenger underwent emergency surgery, but was later pronounced dead.

Officials say Wasserott was in stable condition as of Monday morning.
