A pedestrian suffered a leg injury in a hit-and-run accident in downtown Lexington Wednesday night.
Police say the victim was walking along Georgetown Street near the Newtown Pike intersection around midnight when a car hit him and kept right on going. Officers say the man was in a lot of pain and couldn't provide much information, but did say the car that hit him was an older model white Toyota.
It was the second hit-and-run accident this week. An SUV hit a child along Michigan Street Monday afternoon.
