A Perry County man charged in a triple murder case could face execution now that prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
According to the Hazard Herald, Dalton Stidham, 21, is accused of shooting and killing three people outside of Hazard Community and Technical College in January.
Two of the victims, Caitlin Cornett and her uncle, Jackie Cornett, were pronounced dead at the scene. Taylor Cornett, 12, died the following day at UK Hospital.
So far, Stidham has not entered a plea in the case. His trial has been set for September.
