A man suspected of playing a role in his ex-wife's disappearance more than a decade ago could be on his way to prison on drug charges.
The Lexington Herald Leader reports Bill Crider plead guilty this week to distributing oxycodone in Wolfe County in 2009. It was part of a plea deal that got a gun charge dropped.
The case didn't mention anything about the disappearance of Crider's ex-wife, Joyce, who was last seen in October of 2002 and declared dead in 2009.
Crider could spend up to 20 years in prison. Sentencing is set for January 31st.
